This video is of a 70 year old patient with a vocal cord paralysis caused by a Stage III papillary carcinoma of the thyroid.  The tumor was four centimeters and wrapped around the Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve.  There was also invasion of the strap muscles and inferior nodal spread.
